Jessie Dungaree Skirt: blue denim with caterpillar embroidery and striped pockets

A pinafore skirt for climbing, crawling and everything in between. Mid-blue denim with a smiling machine-embroidered caterpillar on the bib, rainbow swirl buttons on the straps and gold topstitching. The pockets are made from a fine striped fabric in green, lilac, pink and gold, a flash of colour for little hands. Designed, cut and sewn by me in Nottingham.

Made to last: adjustable straps and a deep hem, so it can be worn for longer as your child grows.

Cut from a roll end of rescued denim. When they’re gone, this combination is gone for good.

Care: Machine wash inside out at 40°C with similar colours. Iron on a medium to hot setting, and never directly on the front of the embroidery (iron on the reverse instead).
