Hannah Pinafore Dress: navy cotton drill with wildflower meadow embroidery

A pinafore dress for garden days, parties and everything in between. A navy A-line dress with a meadow of machine-embroidered wildflowers along the hem, in poppy red, bright blue and fresh greens. [The embroidery runs all the way round the hem.] Designed, cut and sewn by me in Nottingham.

Each size has its own surprise inside.

Only 6 made. Cut from a roll end of rescued cotton drill. When they’re gone, this combination is gone for good.

Room to grow: generously cut across the chest, so it fits comfortably for longer. As your child gets taller, wear it over leggings. My own daughters wore theirs for between two and three years.

3 years: check

7 years: white patch squares and flowers
8 years: white patch squares and flowers

Care: Machine wash inside out at 40°C with similar colours. Iron on a medium to hot setting, and never directly on the front of the embroidery (iron on the reverse instead).

Arrives gift-ready in a keepsake box with tissue paper.
